Ricotta is produced from whey; which is a by-product of cheese making, and high quality cow’s milk. It is a fresh cheese, grainy and creamy white in appearance, slightly sweet in taste, and contains a low 13% fat. Like many fresh cheeses, it is highly perishable and is best eaten within a few days of opening the container. Its most common use is in other dishes such as pasta or cakes.

Available in 300g vacuum packed bags to seal in the freshness.

On toast drizzled with honey for breakfast.
Use in cannelloni / lasagne / ravioli or stir through pasta.
As a base for a cooked cheesecake.
Beaten with sugar, cinnamon, orange flower water and shaved chocolate as a dessert.
Stir through flavours like sun-dried tomatoes and olives, bake in a moderate oven for 15 mins and serve for lunch with salad.
